You will need a hand drill or drill press, a vise to secure the jig, and basic hand tools like a hammer and punch set. The included jig and drill bits guide the process. A hobbyist router or Dremel tool with milling bits is recommended for the best finish on the recoil spring channel.
Will a Gen4 or Gen5 slide work on this frame?
This PF940SC frame is designed specifically for Gen3 Glock 26/27 slides and parts kits. While Gen4 slides may physically fit, they are not guaranteed for reliable function. Gen5 slides are not compatible due to different internal dimensions. For optimal performance, use Gen3 components.
Is the frame serialized?
No. This is an 80% frame, which is unserialized upon receipt. It is the builder’s responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the manufacturing and serialization of firearms before and during the completion process.
