It’s designed for the enthusiast who values a custom grip angle and the satisfaction of a personal build. Since we started stocking this in late 2025, it’s consistently been one of our top-selling frame kits. The key benefit is a more ergonomic, aggressive grip that improves control without adding noticeable bulk.

Your Questions Answered
What tools do I need to complete this frame?
You will need a drill, a hand drill press or vise is recommended, and a rotary tool (like a Dremel) with cutting and sanding bits to remove the polymer tabs. Basic hand tools for pin installation are also needed. The v2’s integrated drill guides eliminate the need for a separate jig.
Does this work with aftermarket Glock 19 slides?
Yes. The PF940Cv2 is engineered to be compatible with the vast majority of aftermarket slides and barrels made for the Glock 19 Gen 3 platform. It also accepts standard Gen 3 lower parts kits.
Is the frame serialized?
No. This is an 80% frame, meaning it is not classified as a firearm at the time of sale and does not have a serial number. It is the builder’s responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the manufacture and serialization of firearms.
