You’ll need a hand drill or drill press, a Dremel tool or end mill for the recoil spring channel, and basic hand tools (punches, hammer). The included jig guides the critical drilling operations. A vise to secure the jig is highly recommended.

Yes. The PF9SS frame is designed for the Glock 43 platform, which shares slide compatibility with the 43X and 48 models. You can use a standard Glock 43, 43X, or 48 slide and barrel assembly on this completed frame.
Any tips for a reliable build?
Take your time during the milling process, especially with the recoil spring channel. Ensure all holes are clean and pins slide in smoothly.
