Is the trigger heavy?
Yes. The Double Action Only design means every shot requires a longer, deliberate pull. This is a safety feature, not a target trigger. It’s designed for consistent, reliable operation in a defensive context.
Can I mount a red dot on this?
The CPX-2 Gen3 slide is not pre-cut for optics. Its primary upgrade path is for iron sights. We’ve successfully installed Trijicon and AmeriGlo sights on these pistols in our shop.
What holsters fit it?
It fits holsters designed for the SCCY CPX series. Many universal polymer holsters for compact 9mm pistols may also work, but we recommend a model-specific holster from a reputable maker for secure retention.
